China-UK Agricultural Cooperation Project

Customer needs and satisfaction: China and the UK have launched a three-year cooperation project focusing on sustainable agricultural technology research, aiming to improve the efficiency of agricultural remote sensing, so that Chinese farmers can apply water and nutrients to the areas of farmland that need it most based on the data collected by remote sensing tools. The project involves six universities, with a special emphasis on the Chinese agricultural industry, exploring the application of this technology in sustainable agriculture, which has not yet been used anywhere in the world. Through this cooperation project, researchers expect to apply the technology to pilot areas of Chinese agricultural land in the third year, and if the results are successful, a wider deployment will be carried out.
